As the Founder and Managing Principal, Bhavin is responsible for all aspects of the acquisition, development, and management process and is extremely hands-on in all strategic decisions on a daily basis. He has well-rounded experience in finance, entrepreneurship, and hospitality real estate from a nascent age of merely eight years.

He began assisting his parents in their pursuit of the American dream when he was eight years old. Working in housekeeping, maintenance, and front office operations with his parents helped him develop the skills needed to succeed in any professional endeavor in life. He learned that success does not come easily to anyone who achieves it – it is an emotionally draining journey filled with pain, struggles, and mistakes that one must face in order to push the boundaries of success.

Bhavin considers himself fortunate to have gone through this process early in his life, as it laid the groundwork for his continued success with Shreem Capital.

In 2014, Bhavin graduated in Finance from the Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Go Aggies! He then began his career with an internship with Wells Fargo’s Corporate Banking division in Dallas before joining Naya Ventures, a Venture Capital fund focused on early-stage investments in mobile, cloud, and big data arenas where his role was to source, execute and manage the investments while working closely with founders to scale their businesses.
In his role at Naya Ventures and working for Dayakar Puskoor, a veteran entrepreneur turned Venture Capitalist, Bhavin learned the process to scale a business while helping to manage and deploy raised capital.
This helped shape Shreem Capital in 2017 as Dayakar Puskoor, Jiger Patel, and Bhavin Patel came together to drive value for friends and family who were seeking to diversify into hospitality real estate with stable passive income. Since its formation in 2017, Bhavin has played a pivotal role in growing the hotel portfolio and exceeding the expected returns for investors by driving a targeted acquisition and development strategy in a patient manner.
